Monica Joy Fara is a poet, traveler, and outdoorswoman from Lincoln, NE. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and Spanish from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She is the recipient of the 2016 Vreeland Award for Poetry, and her work has appeared in journals such as The Tampa Review, The Cimarron Review, The Mid-American Review, Painted Bride Quarterly, Fields, Room Magazine, Baltimore Review, Cream City Review, and many more.
